Do you have questions about the Farmers' Market On Broadway? Maybe we can help! Check out our frequently asked questions:
BEFORE YOU GO:
| When is the Farmers' Market open? | [−] |
The Market starts at 3pm every Wednesday from June until October. It's a rain or shine event--neither rain nor sun, nor wind nor dark of night shall keep our vendors from the Farmers’ Market.
| How many vendors will be at the Farmers' Market? | [−] |
This year we have over 160 vendors offering a wide range of products from fresh produce to eggs and bacon.
| Do vendors accept credit cards? | [−] |
Some of our vendors will accept credit cards; however, most do not at this time.
| Where can I find the nearest ATM? | [−] |
There is an ATM available at the south end of Broadway, near Walnut, by M&I Bank. If you're 21, you can also find ATMs in The Sardine Can [128 S. Broadway] and Keggers [231 N. Broadway].
| Can I bring my pet to the Market? | [−] |
Nope. We're sorry, but the city ordinance says you'll have to leave your best friend at home.
WHEN YOU GET HERE:
| Is the Farmers' Market handicap accessible? | [−] |
Yes, the Market takes place along the streets in the Broadway district. There is handicap parking available behind Old Fort Square.
| Is there a place to sit and rest or eat? | [−] |
Yes, in the grassy area near the Ned Cane Sculpture, as well as seating in the Beerntsen's parking lot. Big thanks to Titletown Brewing Co for supplying tables and chairs for Farmers' Market patrons.
| Will the shops on Broadway be open during the Farmers' Market? | [−] |
Of course! Most businesses on Broadway will be open until 8:00pm on Market Wednesdays.
| Are gift cards available for purchase? | [−] |
Yes, you can buy "Broadway Bucks" at the Information Booth and use them at any Broadway District business. However, Broadway Bucks cannot be used for vendors at the Farmers' Market.
IF YOU WANT TO GET INVOLVED:
| How can I apply to be a vendor? | [−] |
Check out the Vendor Documents tab for more information. We'll release the application for the summer of 2012 at the end of February 2012. The sooner you fill it out and get it back to us, the higher your chances are of nabbing a spot at the Farmers' Market next summer.
| How do I sign up to volunteer at the Farmers' Market? | [−] |
Give us a call at the On Broadway office [920-437-2531] and we'd love to give you something to do.
